Our own Jerry Springer Show

I've said this many times before... what goes on in Ft. Oglethorpe, and especially at the City Council, is akin to our own version of the Jerry Springer Show.

But what happened yesterday really brings the point home.

Councilman Richard Egeland's wife went after Councilwoman Jane Moye, accusing her of having an affair with her husband. Apparently Mrs. Egeland punctuated her attack by hurling candy at Moye. Click here for the full story from the Catoosa County News.

Oh, for what it's worth, Moye denies the affair.

All we need are some folding chairs, thick-necked bouncer goons, and a crowd chanting "Jerry! Jerry! Jerry!" and we'd probably make national news.
